USPS wants to save you time and money on shipping hemp products

As reported by this post on cannabusiness.law, the USPS on March 20 announced acceptance criteria for mailing hemp and hemp products (refer to the post to see the announcement letter). Though the criteria are cumbersome, especially for retailers sending many packages per day, this at least signals that the USPS recognizes hemp and hemp products as lawfully mailable. Furthermore, the letter claims that the criteria will be modified (and likely loosened) once the 2018 Farm Bill has been fully implemented.
